The XL Family is a comfortable holiday apartment on wheels – for up to six people – all year round.

As standard, the seating lounge is equipped with two 3-point safety belts facing in the direction of travel and two lap belts facing against the direction of travel.

- A television (optional) can be installed ergonomically at eye level. The required power and antenna connections are already present in the vehicle.
- The spacious, airy interior offers 209 cm of headroom.
- At 960 x 650 mm, the single-leg table is extremely spacious. It is height-adjustable and can be moved lengthways and crossways.
- The 70 cm-wide entrance door provides ample space for easy passage, even when your hands are full. It also includes a window with a blackout blind.
SLEEPING - Bedtime!
The XL Family is a motorhome that is perfectly designed for long journeys, so getting a good night’s sleep on board is all the more important. And the XL more than ticks this box – thanks to a 150 mm-thick 7-zone cold foam mattress that is moisture-regulating and crafted in premium quality (110 mm for the overcab bed). All mattresses are supported by an ergonomic wooden slatted bed frame.
Say goodbye to crumpled clothes! Your jackets, shirts and blouses can be neatly hung up in two large wardrobes with interior lighting while in transit.
There are two berths in the spacious area above the cab. The 210 x 165 cm sleeping area offers more than enough space and the side window and large skylight ensure a good supply of fresh air.
A bedroom to dream of – with a 211 x 152 cm sleeping area, two windows for good ventilation and large overhead lockers for linen. Storage nets installed under the overhead lockers allow quick access to items needed during the night. A 230 V socket and two USB charging ports make it easy to keep mobile phones and other devices charged.
Two berths are created by converting the seating lounge: lower the table, fold out the side extension elements, slide the cushions into place – and a comfortable bed with a sleeping area of 195 x 130 cm awaits you.
COOKING - Rediscover the joy of cooking.
Dining out is nice. However, especially when you’re on the road for an extended period or cooking for an entire family, a wellequipped kitchen comes into its own. The kitchen in the XL Family is equipped with everything a true foodie could wish for, with plenty of extra storage space and work surfaces. For additional safety, the gas shut-off valves are conveniently located behind the drawer panel – so you can easily ensure that appliances like the hob, fridge and heater are disconnected from the gas supply after use.
The tall refrigerator has a capacity of 137 litres including a 15-litre freezer. The convenient AES function automatically switches to the optimum power source.
Cooking is simply a pleasure – with plenty of space for chopping and preparing. Everything is organised and within easy reach. The large space in front of the kitchen even allows two chefs to cook in tandem. Other people can also easily pass behind them – just like at home.
Besides offering plenty of storage space, the overhead lockers are also equipped with the Dethleffs AirPlus system, which provides rear ventilation to prevent condensation.
Delicious! Whether you’re preparing some tasty bread rolls, casseroles or cakes, you won’t want to be without the standard oven.
BAATHROOM - Freshen up.
The bathroom in the new XL Family will leave you wanting for nothing. From the hot water supply and swivelling toilet to the tooth brush holders, everything is “on tap”. There is even a separate shower cubicle on board. Close the bathroom door to the living room to create a large, separate centre bathroom with plenty of room to move around.
The bathroom is equipped with a large mirror surface that gives both taller and shorter occupants a clear view of themselves. The semi-transparent tinted window and forced-ventilation system in the roof ensure good air flow.
Plenty of storage space is provided in the large bathroom cabinet, which also features raised edges that keep the contents from falling out when opened.
When not in use, the shower can be used as a drying room for wet clothes – or simply a wardrobe extension.
A centre bathroom that lives up to its name! The bathroom door can be used to close off the passageway to the living room. This creates a large bathroom and dressing room with direct access to the wardrobe.

INTERIOR PLUS FACTORS - Packed with smart ideas.
The Multiflex rail system can be fitted with various kitchen aids from the Dethleffs Original Accessories range – from hooks and spice boards to kitchen roll holders
The transverse seating includes a large storage space that is easily accessible from both outside and inside the vehicle.
Several floor compartments provide direct access to the 40 cm-high double floor. They can be used either as storage space – even for an entire crate of beverages – or as service compartments providing access to the technology built into the double floor.
Two Isofix fastening systems are fitted as standard to ensure safety when travelling with children.
The large panoramic roof window above the seating lounge brings plenty of light and air into the vehicle.
Power sockets integrated into the seating lounge! A total of 7 x 230 V, 4 x USB and 1 x 12 V sockets are installed in the vehicle.
The overcab bed base can be folded up for easy access to the cab.
All overhead lockers are equipped with the AirPlus rear ventilation system developed by Dethleffs. This reliably prevents a build-up of condensation behind the overhead lockers.
Two wardrobes are available to hang up shirts, blouses and jackets and avoid creases during transport.
EXTERIOR PLUS FACTORS - Inspired by practical experience.
The double-glazed flush-fitting windows provide excellent insulation and are seamlessly integrated into the side wall.
The entire water installation is protected from frost inside the heated 40 cm-high double floor. The front right-hand service compartment provides access both to the storage space under the transverse seating and to the double floor, which can be loaded across the entire width of the vehicle – including via a second service flap on the left.
The rear area is monitored by two reversing cameras: one mounted at the top for an overview and one at the height of the number plate for a precise view of the ground.
The optional levelling system automatically levels the motorhome. The actual vehicle weight can be measured at any time using the integrated weighing function.
The water tanks can be emptied and the boiler’s frost monitor operated via the technical compartment on the left side of the vehicle.
The stylish alloy wheels are included as standard.
The rear garage with large garage doors on the left and right offers an immense amount of space. The rear garage can also be accessed from the vehicle’s interior via a small door.
The 70 cm-wide comfort habitation door, coupe entrance and electric step make getting in and out of the vehicle a breeze.
The 2 x 11 kg gas bottles can be easily replaced via the large service flap. The built-in Duomatic regulator automatically switches from the empty gas bottle to the full one.
The standard awning is 6 metres long and can be extended to a width of 2.75 metres. It provides protection against the sun and rain.
PLUS FACTORS: CAB AND CHASSIS - Comfort and safety.
Travelling in the XL Family is a safe and comfortable experience. This is ensured by a host of comfort features and assistance systems, such as automatic cab climate control, cruise control, a digital speedometer, full LED headlights including LED daytime running lights, ESP (including ASR), Traction+, Hill Holder, Descent Control, Emergency Brake Assist, a rain and light sensor, Lane Keep Assist and much more.
The 180 hp (132 kW) MultiJet engine with an attached 9-speed automatic gearbox provides plenty of power. The XL Family is based on an Alko Premium low-frame chassis, lowered by 145 mm. The result is a dynamic yet comfortable and safe vehicle with a technically permissible maximum laden mass of 5.4 tonnes.
The standard naviceiver combines FM/DAB+ radio and a motorhome navigation system in one device. The 9-inch touchscreen, which also displays the image from the reversing cameras, provides a clear overview.
The heated carpet in the cab keeps the driver’s and front passenger’s feet nice and warm.
The cab is additionally heated using hot-water convectors piped to the interior heating system.
The interior heating system also warms up the engine’s cooling water by means of a heat exchanger. This reduces the wear and tear on the engine caused by cold starts, especially in sub-zero temperatures. Conversely, the engine heat can be used to heat the living room while travelling.
The cab blinds provide protection from heat, cold and prying eyes.
